Webinar program
This online seminar consists of three videos (20-25 minutes each). Each will deal with a specific topic of Russian culture and all of them are taught by our Russian language expert, Anastasia Chulkova. The content of each video includes:
- A brief presentation of the topic
- Description of the whole topic using all types of media: images, presentations, videos, audio,…
- Explanation of the most important vocabulary to help understand the topic.
- Questions to the teacher, which you can ask by email.
Contents of this webinar
- Russian culture: Traditional Russian footwear. We will talk about valenki and lapti, a centuries-old tradition that still survives.
- Famous people: Peter the Great, the first Russian emperor and founder of the city of Saint Petersburg.
- Russia today: The Trans-Siberian Railway, the longest railway line in the world.
