Thank you for this book, received quickly. It is superb! I’ve only been learning Russian for two months, using an app which I didn’t take sufficient notes from. When it started introducing me to several verbs of motion, I began to forget them all. I also wasn’t clear about which one was in which direction, nor all the instances of usage.
This textbook is short and concise. It’s published in a very easy to read font, and the layout of the text is well spaced and kind to the eye. It is very clear to read.
I’ve just read through the chapter for the first pair of verbs: to go on foot . They are so well explained. The table is in Russian and English, and it’s all explained and elaborated upon in the following pages. It is easy to understand.
All the conjugations are shown in a clear-to-read reference table, and there are plenty of practice exercises.
I love Sistema Kalinka books. They’re the best.

This is an amazing introduction to verbs of motion! I was looking for something that explained the reasoning behind (идти vs. ходить) and (ехать vs. ездить); and after finishing the first 10 pages of exercises—I feel like I’ll never ask be confused again! Great explanations and great exercises! Thank you Anastasia!

Russian Verbs of Motion is a very complicated topic as there is no equivalent in English. I started this after finishing the 2nd Text Book and it helped me a lot! Highly Recommended.

This book was an excellent tool to help me master the Russian verbs of motion. Formerly, I always made mistakes and regularly chose the wrong verb, or didn’t make the right conjugation. Now I make no mistakes at all! I am very happy I bought this book!
