This book is well organized; the tables are especially helpful for understanding the cases.

I’m new to Russian. I’ve just reached brginner A1 level. I thought cases would be impossible to grasp. This text book arrived today. It is clearly printed and well laid out. It shows where the stress lies in each word for pronouncing it correctly. The explanations of each case are easy to understand, and full of useful guidance and examples. The tables for all the pronouns for each case are really well designed, highlighting how each word differs. The font throughout the book is clear to read, and large. It is all so clearly explained and appropriate for A1 to A2 level. There are pages of practise exercises to do, and answers at the back of the book. I am so pleased with this. It is demystifying the dreaded concept of grammatical case, written in language that I can understand. I’m so glad I discovered Sistema Kalinka material. I also have some of their ebooks. They’re the best quality resources I’ve come across. A brilliant company!

Excellent Book ! Highly recommended. Summarise Case usage very well (but not for adjs yet). Explains very clearly, and offers lots of exercise for practice. I started it after finishing the 2nd Text book, and it helped greatly to prepare for the 3rd Book. I also used it a lot as a reference! (refer to the tables when i forgot how to change 😛 )

Sistema Kalinka has made the study of Russian language for a native English speaker like myself so much more attainable than I ever thought it could be. This book of Russian cases follows the same path, clear explanations with plenty of exercises to practice. It includes answers of course. The video course with the tutor Anastasia is excellent. I love the Russian language and these course materials are a real help to those who wish to learn it.
